Gnosticism was significantly influenced by Platonic philosophy, and the core concepts in Plato's Allegory of the Cave share strong thematic parallels with Gnostic beliefs about the nature of reality and the path to salvation. Gnostics adapted these Platonic ideas to form their own cosmology and metaphysics. Also In Hinduism,Samkhya philosophy both traditions see the material world as a lesser or illusory realm that traps the divine spirit. Hinduism has the concept of maya (illusion), and Gnosticism views the material world as created by a lesser deity (the Demiurge). You also see this in Buddhism.

Also the Sethian Gnostics belived the only people that could experience the inner awakening were the descendants of Seth. Because Cane and Able were products of r@&# by the demiurge of eve. But if you think about it in the story we're all desendents of Seth. His descendants would've been the only ones to survive the flood.

Um, from my understanding, they didn't believe the World War was created by the demirge, the demiers thought he was the ruler. I kinda like how one architect would think that maybe he was the father of architecture, because he hadn't seen another architect. Little did he know he was created by an architect kind of like that

Wrong. The demiurge did NOT create the world. Sophia - Eros (feminine divine wisdom) created the world without her masculine counterpart - the logos (Christ). This caused a creation of an unstable world with the god of the world as the demiurge. The demiurge does not know where it comes from and thinks it’s the god of the world. The spirit of the demiurge expresses itself as your ego as well as many other ways. You don’t know where you come from, and you are sure what you know is the truth (scientists denying god). They are the god of their world. They did not create it. — this is the reason for christs descent and sacrifice. Sophia was scattered among humanity, it’s an archetype. It lives within you. Christ died on the cross and underwent the harrowing of hell where he alchemised the sins of the world. This allowed everyone’s sins to be forgiven. Christ gave us the possibility to fulfill the wholeness of Sophia within us and incorporate the demiurge to our will - that’s the ego living knowing that god flows through him and that he himself is not god.
