I thought I was alone for feeling this way. I can’t talk to anyone without being told that marriage is so wonderful and there’s someone out there for me. I just want companionship, not marriage. I love my freedom. I feel like if I get married I have to give up on my dreams or stop building.

Putting yourself 1st and releasing the shackles of society and loving whatever people choose for themselves is the greatest freedom. I’m there with you, Shonda Rimes. I am still defining myself. I just walked away from a marriage proposal and even dating to the same person. I have never felt so sure and right off myself. Marriage is good for those that see it as their all goal, some of us have been there, done it and are now prefer ourselves
