It is a school in the sticks of the USA. I've had books in 2019 that I believe were dated as being from the 1990s.

My geography teacher in middle school in 2016 still used a map with USSR, Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia on it just because she was to lazy to ask school for a new one (and once we told the principal she actively defended that map and didn’t allow to change it)
