In the 80s we just made blancmange with jelly and condensed milk or evaporated milk, it didnt come in packs lol, had to be in a bunny shape with green jelly around it and yes squirty cream and 100s and 1000s (sprinkles for US people 😁)

So it’s great with some whipped cream and chopped strawberries on the side. It’s really nostalgic. My mum used to sometimes use it in a trifle. She would do sponge, fruit and jelly on the bottom, then put a layer of blancmange ontop and then either top it with whipped double cream or something called dream topping. Really nostalgic - we all loved it. Was a special dessert for special occasions in our household.

I think a lot of people use Blancmange in a Trifle nowadays Blancmange, Jelly/Jello, Whipped cream, and cadburys flake crumbled on top that’s one my mum loves to make can do it with different flavours of blancmange 👍🏻
