As a fearful avoidant I blocked someone because I loved them so much I couldn't tolerate having them in my life sometimes, mostly due to jealousy because I couldn't tell him how I felt about him.

He didn’t block but he unfollowed and removed me as a follower. Then sent a text saying “Not ending badly, just have to escape this cycle of hurt that we’re trapped in, and it starts by cutting me out. Really wishing you the best”. Why didn’t he just block me and why did he frame it as “cutting me out” when he’s the one that did the cutting?

This is the paradox that's hard to understand as an anxious attached person. To me it feels like I didn't matter and was just thrown away. It's hard to wrap my head around it, as it's something I would never do. I wish he would understand what it feels like for me.

We’d been talking for months — I loved our conversations, no matter the time. But then I started catching feelings. I told him I needed distance because what I was feeling wasn’t right. Tried to move on, failed miserably, and reached out again three months later. He replied instantly, but things weren’t the same. He said he wasn’t sure he could trust me anymore after everything he’d shared. And when I started explaining and apologizing… he blocked me. 😔
