Another creator said - Federal employees will get their jobs back and SNAP is funded through the end of 2026. If Republicans vote no on ACA subsidies, the Dems will let the government close at the end of January. The subsidies will be an issue based on the enrollment deadline though.

what could they have done I'm not happy either, but everyone was still going to be out of work with no food. Now we can try and get back to work so we can live to fight another day. I am confused how Arizona voted on this i thought they didn't have representation bc she wasn't sworn in on.

im not a democrat but they are terrible negotiators it seems. This is going to really bite them in the ass because they cant even campaign on the shutdown bringing some good in their perspective for the midterms they'll try to pun it on the GOP but it won't stuck that well with most average voters

The money isn’t there. According to Supreme Court Justice Ketanyi Brown- Trump Administration has spent the funds. ACA gutted to pay for the tax cuts to wealthy, SNAP contingency funds spent on somewhere-maybe Argentina.
