My oldest had insane night terrors when she was 4-5. Only when we lived in a certain house that year. Never had them any other time. She would run up and down the hallway screaming “i want my mommy” louder than ive ever heard before or after. I have nightmares about it.

My kids would get them and leg cramps when they didn’t nap between 2-4. They’d scream forever. We found if we turned the tv on and sat and watched for 20min, they’d wake up, be tv-zombied, and then we could put them back to bed. So much faster and quieter.
