Do you have any suggestions on how to handle old charg off cards that midland credit bought the debt? All my current cards are laid off but those collections are what’s keeping my score from getting better I think. I’ve always heard not to pay them since Midland Credit wasn’t the original creditor but idk, my score is stuck. Do I pay Midland Credit and hope they report as paid?
