You’re 100% correct , using a pash to mark that a section (right behind where you’re standing) is taken is literally law at red rocks. You don’t move someone’s pash, and you definitely don’t stand in front of a group that isn’t your group ! I see nothing wrong with your take, other group was def in the wrong and needs someone to show them they way.

Oh I would’ve LOST IT if they stood in front of me. You can call red rocks security if that happens and they will tell them to move. It’s a full blown rule at red rocks that it’s 1 person per seat. You are NOT allowed to stand in front of others

I used to work event staff at RR, the lanes should be clear for fire safety. if you dont have a space along the seating, move along.

Yoooo what?!?!?! How is this take wrong?? At subtronics this year I almost got into a fight with a group of teenage kids because they decided to step up onto our platform. After kindly asking them to step down because RR DOESNT work like that.. they got combative. It completely damped our mood. THE WOOD IS FOR SITTING THE CONCERT IS FOR STANDING, by stepping onto the wood you’re now standing in front of someone else.

The wood is your sitting place, the concrete is where you stand. I am okay with groups that double stack in the concrete but NOT on the wood. Do not stand on the wood, that is for the row in front of you to sit. People are allowed to sit. 🙄

When you do any stacking it ruins the view for people in the next few rows behind them. The only proper etiquette is a slight stagger at most. This didn't used to be open for debate just for some context.

You are 10000% correct. It has always been kosher to mark your group's spot with a blanket or pash (and to be clear I mean MARK not SAVE. Being one person and trying to save a large amount of space up close to the stage is frowned upon) It is also not cool at all for the other group to be stacking in front of you. Like you said, they can do it in their own spots, not start infringing on the spot you have been in since the 1st opener. People are so rude, pushy, & entitled sometimes.
