Decades in banking, a lot of years in collections. What's happening right now is very similar to 2008.

It's like US government debt being moved to the Caymans. It doesn't look as bad as it actually is..and it's really really bad lol

My lender held my payments in pergatory for eight months then told me all of a sudden that I was delinquent, never missed nor late on any payments. Suddenly one invoice had a category of unapplied funds totaling the amount unapplied+fees 🤔 fortunately I kept records of all payments through my bank account which showed the date sent & received, it took me about a month to correct their mistakes but in the meantime they ruined my credit (they cleared it up) but still there was no repercussions for them for purposely not applying my payments, I went to a lawyer and they asked was I in foreclosure and I said, "no", they are not applying my payments and I have never missed the lender chose to hold my payments. Even though it is cleared up I feel shortchanged because the lender DECIDED TO DO THIS for no apparent reason.

Don't push me cause I'm close to the edge, I'm trying not to lose my head. Sometimes you make me wonder how I keep from going under. The USA. 250 years is about the lifespan of most civilizations.

they will not let the housing market crash because they have too much invested in it..they will keep buying up the delinquencies..they have to because we can't print anymore money..no one wants our debt

This situation plus the 50 year mortgage, it all sounds like a complicated version of renting combined with a race against the clock. Will you live long enough to actually own the home? Hopefully. But also, if you live too long, then your elder care will likely eat the house
