@tokyo.campervans: 🚐⛰️ 5-Day Vanlife Itinerary for Hikers in Japan If you love hiking and road trips, this one’s for you 👣 This itinerary that combines mountain views, onsen stays, and cozy van nights in the Japanese Alps. Day 1: Drive from Tokyo → Hakuba area → Overnight in the van at the Shirouma trailhead parking lot Day 2: Hike up to Mt. Shirouma 🏔 Stay at Shirouma Sanso mountain hut Day 3: Hike to Yari Onsen ♨️ and spend the night surrounded by alpine views Day 4: Hike down and rest overnight in the van again at the trailhead Day 5: Explore Shirouma Village before driving back to Tokyo The views on this hike are STUNNING. Honestly even better than Mt. Fuji. Sadly when we went the weather was bad and we got stuck in the first mountain hut for 2 days!!
