Sham doesn’t mean levant, it just means anything north of madinah like al ula or tabuk, same goes for yaman it just means anything south of madinah like makkah and taif. It wouldn’t make sense to make duaa for levant people as they were not Muslim yet but some of the shabah with the prophet pbuh were from north of madinah like balawi tribe, and they wanted him to make duaa for them.

!!!??!?!! Yamen is a direction from south of taif to the sea sham is also a direction from north Medina to Petra city in Jordin today !! Yamen and sham of the kaabah in makah Not all of Jordin is sham and when he said najed peace be upon him it was to the east of Medina so its najed iraq !! Jordin Palestine Lebanon Syria It’s not an Arab land and the people are not Arab
