Notice how the guy with the fawn is wearing gloves guys (deer are one of my favorite animals so imma infodump) this is because if you were to touch a fawn with your bare hands and your scent stays on it the mother will abandon it because she can’t smell herself on her baby anymore so always always wear gloves when you do something like this

We had highland cows when I was young. Calf had accidentally rolled under the fence while sleeping and my mom ran back there because it’s mother, father and auntie were just bellowing like the world was ending. She puts the calf back and immediately they are perfectly calm again.
