Recipe Name Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Onion Bombs Ingredients 1. 4 large sweet onions 2. 1½ lbs ground beef 3. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 4. ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled 5. 2 tbsp BBQ sauce 6. 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 7. 2 tsp garlic powder 8. 1 tsp onion powder 9. 1 tsp smoked paprika 10. 1 tsp salt 11. ½ tsp black pepper 12. 12–16 bacon strips 13. 2 tbsp BBQ rub or steak seasoning 14. Extra BBQ sauce for glazing Recipe 1. Preheat your smoker or oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. Peel the onions and cut them in half through the middle. 3. Remove the inner layers, leaving 2–3 outer layers intact to form onion shells. 4. Mix the ground beef, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. 5. Fill each onion shell tightly with the beef mixture. 6. Press two stuffed halves together to create a complete onion ball. 7. Wrap each onion bomb completely with bacon strips. 8. Sprinkle the outside with BBQ rub or steak seasoning. 9. Place on a foil-lined tray or smoker grate. 10. Cook for 60–75 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp and the beef reaches 160°F (71°C). 11. Brush with BBQ sauce during the last 10 minutes of cooking. 12. Rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Follow for more delicious recipes!
