@allrecipes: To celebrate the upcoming holiday season, we’re bringing Nicole’s favorite family recipes straight to your home. Let’s kick things off with her hearty Green Bean Artichoke Casserole! 💚🍁 🧑🍳: Nicole McLaughlin Ingredients: 1 1/4 cups Italian-style bread crumbs 1 1/4 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon kosher salt 3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 2 (9 ounce) packages frozen artichoke hearts, thawed, drained well, and roughly chopped 3 (28 ounce) cans Italian-style green beans, drained 2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil, divided chopped parsley for garnish Directions: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Combine Italian bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Reserve 1/3 cup breadcrumb mixture and set aside. Add artichokes, green beans, and 1/2 cup olive oil to the bowl and gently fold to combine well. Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with reserved breadcrumb mixture. Drizzle with remaining olive oil; cover with foil. Bake in the preheated oven until heated through, about 30 minutes. Uncover and bake until lightly golden and bubbly around the edges, 10 to 15 minutes more. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.

Would be much better if you used fresh foods instead of everything canned and boxed. Processed is processed and not so good for our body.

I make that. This one looks a little bit better to me because the bread crumbs are not as heavy, and the parmesan cheese is more than mine. I'm going to make those two changes. The one I make calls for big lemon rings all across the top which really makes this more like a stuffed artichoke for some reason. The lemon really makes it great!
