Still crazy how despite being the most popular Scooby-Doo monsters, Ghost Clown, Space Kook AND The Creeper are reduced to background cameos…

You are so right! I wish they would've kept the tar monster's massive iris and lack of pupil. It makes it look much more alien and unnerving imo. The movie one still scared the shit out of me as a kid though xD

I didn’t know those were supposed to be live action versions of old scooby doo villains I always thought they were original characters for the movie

I hate that they had a fully physical Creeper and shot test footage, and decided to never use him. Nowadays they treat the Creeper as if it’s THE Scooby Doo monster

They all have the green glow/smoke, bc the costumes were enchanted to make real monsters. That’s why they look a bit different 🥰

We need more live action scooby doo. They could make a kids version and a darker version

I mean the whole point of that machine so that they are actual monsters instead of costumes designed to be scary in the darkness or whatever, so design differences are alright with me

I always joke to my mom that miner 49er is the laziest monster in the original series cause all he did was put on a hat, a beard, and stilts

Bictor :
Funny enough I’m pretty sure the monsters are supposed to look more like the cartoon versions, a lot cheesier and fake looking but the machine made the suits actually real monsters
