@rosieandtheshelterpups: Should I keep trying the backpack? 😅 She did end up forgiving me when I brought her new cat tree in that she’s obsessed with so stay tuned for that video coming soon 🩷 If you’re interested in adopting finch, visit the link in my bio to fill out an application #animalsheltervolunteer #shelterkitten #spicykitten #catbackpack #fosterkittens
I think she thought you'd take her away from her new home 😭 She calmed down when she noticed to be back at the same familiar spot.

Cats like this need to take things slowly. You are rushing too much, too fast. Just focus on making her relaxed and safe.

You're going too fast. Give her time to adapt and used to you.
The hissing shows it.
And be careful on leash

Yeah you may want to slow down on introducing her to new things. You may traumatize her more by going too fast.

Hi! You should definitely let the back pack in the same room with her. She's get used to it and in a few weeks it's gonna be her safer space

be careful with leashes and harnesses, its easy for cats to slip out of them

Remember that for new pets, always follow the 3-3-3 rule: 3 days to decompress in a room or space, 3 weeks to learn your routines, 3 months to feel at home.

@betydonte: Keep the carrier in the room with her so she doesn’t freak out everytime she sees it or you bring it in. Also leave her snacks in inside for some positive reinforcement ✨ this worked with my adopted furr baby 🤗 he is not longer scared of it
