I waited 6 months until introducing my kids to my bf. They were 10, 16 and 19 at the time. It wasn’t just a timeline for me, I waited until we had talked about our future and I knew he was someone who would be in my life long term. It’s been just over 2 years now and the integration of our families has been beautiful to watch. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I could ever be this happy!

Think the issue is if they have younger children, how do you know the relationship is gonna work if you already invested six or eight months and the kids don’t like you😬

I think it does depend on certain situations and age of kids. but I think 5 to 8 months if they're younger.

I have yet to introduce anyone to my kids, however, I would like to follow the 3 month rule: no introduction until 3 months, no sleepovers until 6 months (this is optional, as I won’t ever bring a man home for a sleepover)
