@anastasiaaivalis: I opened a brand new box of pasta from Walmart… and it was INFESTED with LIVE bugs. Not only did it ruin the entire meal I cooked for my kids because I didn’t realize until after I dumped half of it in, but it’s just unacceptable. Like yes—I’m grateful that losing a $40 pot of soup isn’t going to break me… but that’s exactly the point. There are people right now whose last $40 is going toward feeding their family. People who are stretching every dollar because inflation is insane. Imagine finally being able to cook one real meal… and finding bugs inside it after it’s already done. We’re living in a time where the cost of everything is going up, but the quality is dropping. It’s frustrating. It’s sad. And it shouldn’t be happening. Companies need to do better.
