My parents only allowed us to ask for 3 things from Santa for Christmas because Jesus only received 3 gifts from the wisemen. I’m now doing the same thing with my children 💕

Personally I dont believe that Christmas is Jesus's birthday. However, since we dont know exactly when it is, I've come to the conclusion that if everyone has agreed to celebrate it on a specific day its much better than not celebrating it at all. Our Savior deserves the best birthday party ever 🥹❤️

When my daughter was 3 the Holy Spirit really convicted me. We were placing cookies out for Santa and she gasped and said where’s the cake for Jesus and I looked at her and was like you’re absolutely right! We stayed up late and made that cake! 🎂 have done it every year since!!

I love this! It’s honestly sad that earlier Christians came up with Christmas to celebrate the birth of Jesus and gather with loved ones just for people to make it about Santa years later.

Look for a colombian tradition called “novena de navidad” it is a sweet way of preparing ourselves for that date with prayers and in family!! It’s the story of Jesus birth in 8 days where family gathers together!!!

My grandma always made the grandkids dress up and reenact the nativity scene. So many laughs and fun that made it so memorable 🥰

During the advent season mom would put out a empty manager. My 3 siblings and I would spend advent doing kind deeds, and for each act of kindness we would be able to add straw to the empty manger to make a warm comfy spot for baby Jesus. On Christmas Day, mom would have baby Jesus in the manager. It was such a sweet tradition for us as kids!
