OR nurse and post-appendectomy survivor here 😅 the gas definitely causes the WORST pain in both the shoulders and stomach!! peppermint tea helps with the bloating, as well as walking as much as possible. a heating pad was the only thing that helped me with the soreness in my stomach. sending you the BEST vibes throughout your recovery!!! ❤️🩹

I was a post op nurse- the best thing you can do is walk, walk, walk! You can take Gas x or simethicone if you need but moving is really the best thing you can do for gas pains

Hey I got my appendix removed 21 days ago when u inhale when u do deep breath does it give u sharp pain ? Or when sneeze and cough sharp pain ? Every time I inhale deep it hurts right side sharp pain the deeper I breathe

I got my gallbladder taken out and it was the same procedure with the gas! It will all pass I promise but it can be so painful!! Feel better soon!! ❤️🩹

Girl I had my gallbladder removed and the gas pains took me out for days like the worst pain of it all! Walking even though it hurt did help. Hang in there it gets better!

How do you have the energy to get ready . I’m in so much pain. I had to stay in hospital one week after surgery. Perhaps yours was taken out and you were able to go home right away?
