And as featured in this video, in autumn, the park glows fiery red with kochia bushes, paired with blooming cosmos. - It can take as little as 90 minutes to reach Hitachi Seaside Park from Tokyo, making it the perfect day trip from the city. The easiest way is taking the JR Hitachi or Tokiwa Limited Express from Ueno Station to Katsuta, then a 15-minute bus ride to the park. - Tickets cost 450 yen and you can buy them at the gate. - Explore the park on foot or by bike, following scenic paths and an old rural style village area.
