This was more of a crush in the animated series but they took it WAY to far in the Batman beyond comic. I absolutely hated this and it really turned me off from the show knowing this information. It’s so out of character and out of touch for Bruce, especially when he already had Selina, Talia and even Zatanna at this point in the series. So for him to go after batgirl when she already liked nightwing was so out of place and disgusting

I've seen the shows multiple times & from what I can tell the only one who ever shows interest romantically is Barbara. You can even tell how uncomfortable Bruce is on the phone in that scene.

well, in the show i don't think they were dating. I chose to see it as a one sided crush because Bruce never shows any romantic or sexual interest in her in the show. yes I know there's a comic that explains they had an affair behind Dick Grayson's back and that's why Dick left and doesn't show up in Batman Beyond. but I like to ignore that exists.

Bruce is 30, They say it in the calendar girl episode. That being said, it's still like a 10- 12 year age difference and him knowing her as a child anf bringing her into the bat family, it all feels really icky 😬
