They mimic lanterns and voices you know, but each step toward them steals your warmth. 2. Stay inside before the aurora shifts. When the sky ripples red, the Keep breathes in, and anything outside is taken with the mist. 3. Do not look at your reflection. There are no mirrors here, yet you will see yourself in windows, puddles, and eyes. It is not you. 4. Mark your door every dawn. If the mark fades, you are no longer in your room. 5. The bell rings thirteen times only once. When it does, hide under salt and silence, Aetherveil is counting. No one knows what happens when the counting ends. Some say the Keep chooses who stays.
