be careful moving them. they use their sent trails ti find their way home to their burrows so if you move rhem too far and they cant find them and they have puggles then they can starve

I come across a lot of Echidna's on the road, so I now have gardening gloves and a towel in the boot of my car so I can pick them up. I just slide my hand under the tummy. So cute 😍

Welcome to the Dreaming :
Was blessed with Echidna quills.. unfortunately for the echidna he got stuck in a wild cat trap on a wetlands reserve, we were bringing back to life an old dairy farm by planting all the natives trees, introducing native fish, frogs ect and of course protecting the ducks and birds that come to the wetlands, from hunters, and or wild animals such as foxes and cats. He was chasing the ants from a bird that led him to his demise. Kutha!! poor thing. But I was able to do what was needed, allowing the ants to finish eating him and retrieve his quills, took about 3-4 months tops. Funny how the circle of life happens. I would never harm them or any animal and always hope for blessings in the most natural form possible.
