Does this take any integrity out of the pvc? I always thought once heat was applied pvc became brittle… don’t hate on me I’m just curious lol

Lots of electric companies will fail you for bending pipes. Typically fine for a sub feed though

I run tones of conduit for installing barriers and bollards and there is nothing wrong with adding heat. As long as you do not allow it to kink. 10x faster than using fittings.

This works absolutely fine, but if you get into a situation that requires a lot of sweeps that make the heating blankets for bending conduit too!

when I was a boy I made 6'' sewage pipe all the way up to 36'' reclaim. it takes air pressure to hold its shape round while it cools !
