The Commonwealth War Gtaves Commission is a great website. What I can't get over are what I think are called the walking wounded. A coworker's SIL was a peacekeeper in Kosovo & he was digging up mass graves to gather evidence for war crimes. How does anyone get over things like this?

Being from the ROI we don’t celebrate for what should be obvious reasons The First Nations were abused by the colonists as well I feel for all veterans but to wear a poppy is like saying the British are forgiven or deeds forgotten

I'm very sorry to hear that. my opinion is that these people are racist and they're ignorant and they have no business doing that. I wish I could wave a magic wand and fix it all for you because I can't imagine how horrible it must feel when people do that. 😡 just know every chance I get I try to stand up for you guys and that you have rights that aren't being met, and that people are being ignorant. But I will always speak out on your behalf. because I believe in reconciliation and I believe that the indigenous people had rights to the land before we did and I am humbled that we are still able to live on this land because you guys have allowed us to. And I'd like to thank the indigenous families for their loved ones sacrifices in all the wars, especially if they lost their loved ones. ♥️♥️
