we use vr to explore chernobyl and exploring the titanic ect from our living room for school. it can also be a great tool. but definitely need to monitor. this is terrifying 😳

Sounds like an issue with Roblox not VR. Roblox has done almost nothing to stop PDFs on their servers and have actively banned people that have gone after them. There are so many games on VR that are not even multiplayer games so buy those instead if you don’t want your kids interacting with people online

children should be monitored and they shouldnt be on the internet at all, but also these particular ppl should be investigated if their ideas are hosted and ita obvious who they are targeting. you cannot blame a child for being ignorant and curious sometimes, and we cannot censor all media on the internet, what we can do it moderate spaces for adult and children media. PDFs hace clear intentions so idk why arnt they taking down their content when it's reported

So I'm about to sound crazy but hear me out. 3d movies shouldn't be viewed by children under 10 and even then it's said to use discretion. This was originally why I never let my kids on things like vr. Fast forward to Roblox and I knew from being a kid on the net it's not safe. Put these two things together and it's literally obvious that kids shouldn't be using either thing

I absolutely don't allow my kids to use internet. I only share a phone I put parental limitations on. They are only aloud games were there is no ability to communicate with other people.

Isn’t there an easy fix to this? Have the users divided by age, and if that divide wants to be breeched then the parental access has to be okayed?

I bought one for my kid and I assumed you could silence the audio to play. 🙄 He’s used it once for 5mins because of that. Nothing bad happened but as soon as we realized other people were talking, we said no.
