It’s the emotional neglect in marriage that sets the tone for the entire family.

I keep seeing EPs saying that their child’s spouse stole the kid. I wonder how many of those parents didn’t defend their child due to the belief you always have to be united.

My daughter and I have had such a healthy amazing relationship. She my fav person. She just turned 13 and the last couple yrs have been really struggling (or I have) with the transition and I haven’t been doing a very good job 😢 but I’m doing the inner work and research. Giving her space and watching her fail at certain things has been gutwrenching internally. But I know it’s necessary for her to gain independence. Any tips for a mom experiencing this? She’s gravitated towards her Dad a lot (which warms my heart SO much) and detached from me. I can’t help but feel like I’m doing something wrong or irreversible? I’d love a video on this 🙏 your content is innovative and real. Long time fan and follower ❤❤❤

single mothers work two jobs trying to stay housed and afford food. this statement is true as long as there's at least two, and there's a lot more than that.

Yessss 💯. I've been thinking about this lately. It's systemic and so hard to unravel because too few people can recognize it and challenge it without getting defensive.

We are a society build on emotional neglect. We honor the wrong things. We dismiss connection and love as a whole.

You're going to have to qualify that conclusion more for me. as long as the government is deciding there should be an unemployment percentage and that existing outside is illegal and that trying to feed people who don't have food is illegal, I I can't imagine that the number one problem with families is something they haven't had time to learn, frankly. The administration is committing war against its citizens. The administration's backers and motivators are big business and power players. this is war, they are trying to destroy us.

I agree - it isn't screens, it's lack of emotional connection and quality time.
