it's basically the same thing as a cast on a broken bone. wrapped fabric set and hardened.

am I a ballerina? nope. did I watch the whole thing? yes- and it's crazy you all basically point on nothing but paper mache. I did used to think there was a block of wood at the tip bc some shoes make it seem like they are longer than the toes could reach
