I’m doing this and I’ve added some chains with Velcro so it’s easier to break apart in smaller sections for storage!

I'm doing something similar but more unhinged 😅 I'm embroidering the loops and sewing snaps so they lay flat for storage. I love how yours looks, I might go buy more felt for a chunky chain too😍

I have reused paper chains for over ten years% the trick is to store them in a box that is plenty big so the don’t get crushed% I use them every birthday for each family member
