awesome tradition....and even in this day and age of instant communication....that holds weight.....and obviously memories.....just a thought....turn that symbol into a family heirloom necklace or bracelet??? Those types of things carry on from generation to generation...

I Love This!! On the prequel to Outlander, Blood of my Blood is partially set in WW1. This is where Claire's (main character in Outlander) parents meet and her father is in the army, but when they write to each other they write, "S.W.A.K." (Sealed with a Kiss) on each letter which I love. BTW Outlander is another great series to watch.
