Yesss I got my ADN and my school had so many scholarships so I didn’t spend too much and then I started working in a hospital that paid $9k of my $13k RN-BSN so I’m debt free.

Yesss! Got a job in the hospital right after getting my CMA, Going to a community college for ASN & my tuition is 10k 😆the hospital is paying + financial aid refund checks to help me save!! Not to mention the hospital I work for offers automatic acceptance to their BSN program and of course free for employees!! So many nurses told me the same thing and I’m so glad I listened!!!

you can’t put a price on time. if you can get a bsn first, do it and get it out the way. realistically not many nurses are going to stay with the same hospital for that long, at least they shouldn’t anyway

What they don’t pay you for your BSN…our hospital pays additional $1.5/hr for BSN and certifications are $1.25/hr. Also have a program (PNAP) that also pays an additional $2-4/hr based on point system for edu/involvement/leadership involvement. That’s some $$
