They flew by plane to drive on a newly built road through the rainforest which needed trees to be cut down to talk so I'm guessing zoom/teams or any other video call is beyond them.

Please tell me this is misinformation, Provisional figures show 56,118 delegates registered to attend COP30 in person. Around 100,000 mature Amazon trees were cut down to build an ~8-mile, four-lane highway (Avenida Liberdade) for COP30. For the COP30 venue itself in Belém, over 3,000 trees were removed to expand the conference facilities. Otherwise I’m done with it
