This is where they fly in on private jets and have cut down some of the amazon to get to their jolly. After all thats all it is a jolly. If they wanted action they would have sorted it before their 30th meeting..

How do we reconcile the so-called slowing of global temperature rise due to COP and human actions, however year on year CO2 emissions have increased

They flew by plane to drive on a newly built road through the rainforest which needed trees to be cut down to talk so I'm guessing zoom/teams or any other video call is beyond them.

Please tell me this is misinformation, Provisional figures show 56,118 delegates registered to attend COP30 in person.
Around 100,000 mature Amazon trees were cut down to build an ~8-mile, four-lane highway (Avenida Liberdade) for COP30.
For the COP30 venue itself in Belém, over 3,000 trees were removed to expand the conference facilities. Otherwise I’m done with it

a lot of people struggle to tell the difference between sustainable and renewable energy. the second highest polluting industry is still animal agriculture, particularly in Brazil, but the lobbies that be tend to keep conversation away from this ...

COP has been going on for 30yrs, the biggest polluters are scamming their way by paying poor countries to absorb their misdemeanors. explain how that's good and a better way forward.
