Just because it's legal to openly carry a gun doesn't mean that it's legal to walk around with it in your hand. Notice what the officer says. He says he can't walk down the street carrying a gun. And he even tells the suspect that it would be fine if it was in the holster. My question is if he had a holster why is it in his hand. It makes me think that he's up to no good. I don't draw my gun just to hold it for no reason. Think about that before you say that the police are violating his rights. Apparently someone felt threatened enough to call 911

America confuses me day by day everybody screams 2nd amendment, states allow open carry but then you’re told by police that you cannot walk down the street with a gun in your hand you cannot have it both ways.

That is actually scary to walk by a person with a gun in their hands considering how many times mass shooting happened. I am pretty sure all of you who complains about officer now wish that those mass shooters were caught on time before anything happened.
