Companies need to start employee training again. Offloading that work to employees on their "free time" is exactly what it sounds like: exploitation. Don't get me wrong. Upskilling is important, but companies have never been more entitled and profitable, in aggregate.

I never called out, always came in to cover other staff who always called out, followed protocols yet Supervisor presented false statements about me and I challenged them. Next thing I was wrongfully terminated.
