A man on you a few years ago, who welcome me, with a warm heart and open arms, into the first men’s mental health group I have attended… sadly couldn’t continue. As often happens, I lost touch with him, and the last thing I knew is that life was amazing for him. Until I got a text to say that you had sadly passed away. Although we weren’t close friends, he gave me his warmth and his time inside the group and on the phone. Please, please, please…. If any man is reading this and feels they can’t continue, you don’t have to end it all. I’ve had two incredibly luckiest escapes along this journey that I’ve been on. I’m now living and building a life that I didn’t think I could ever do. Please keep going. Please don’t give up on yourself.
