I made the mistake buying a salvage title they told me it’s only salvaged due to hail storm but this car still had weird noises that no mechanic can figure out it still works great and everything but I can’t even insure it with any other insurance company then the one I’m already with because of the title and I at this point want out and because of the title dealerships won’t get me out of it don’t get a rebuilt or salvage title ever whatever they say it’s a nightmare also ensure if it is a clean title make sure it really is I accidentally bought a car once that the dealership lied to me told me it was a clean title when it was rebuilt

It also stands for a salvage title. Which could be anything from the airbags deployed to? It's been in a flood. Or the lemon law has kicked in on it.

I don't mind a rebuilt title, as long as I can inspect it on a lift and the price reflects the title status.

If they don’t disclose what the title really is the contract would be null and void. I don’t see banks lending out the the money on a rebuilt title anyways.
