I can't visit my parents at their home bc she's still living there. it's constant walking on eggshells for all of us. this Xmas, I realized, my parents are a part of the problem too bc they're always telling ME to just "say nothing" when I'm literally standing their in silence as my sister screams the meanest things to me. I finally broke on day 3 of 5. let's all get through this together 🫶🏼

I blocked them and that was the best thing for me. My husband and children met them and they encouraged me to do it.

This was so painfully my brother and I. He was the abuser especially since we were left alone alone. My mom prioritized men over her children. He had to "parent" me and I was the peace keeper. In order to control me, he used physical punishment and verbal and emotional abuse. To which my mom would not intervene and often joined in or encouraged.

My brother was bipolar and my abuser. I always had to shrink because I was the “normal” child. He is such a narcissist it’s actually astonishing. Nothing ever got to be about me. He tried to unalive me on so many occasions and I was never protected. Now me (the normal kid) has major depression, cptsd, anxiety, ocd and who knows what else.

No way… he was the golden child. My mom read Charlie and the chocolate factory like 4 times among other. No… he was wayyyyyyy too seen and coddled.
