I’m surprised they didn’t send him home the minute he came to school without a parent. It was a proven fact that he had emotional and mental issues and had to have a parent present. Why was he even there?

If he was speaking about hurting her at school to his peers and other teachers, he was almost certainly speaking about it at home as well. His parents needed to be held more accountable than they were.

I feel like we need to investigate the parents because why is he this aggressive at his young age and why did his parents have weapsons in the first place? As someone who has been at risk of hurting themselves and/or others and has gone through the extensive safety protocols and therapy for it, I know that any reasons (including regular cooking knives and scissors) are locked away and any legal weapons like firearms or axes are removed entirely from the home. Like I feel his parents and the mental health system have failed him as well. This is so disheartening and I’m so terribly sorry for both her and all the students that went through this
