That is a NO SWIM ZONE. There are no lifeguards. This is where there are the most sharks, stingrays, etc. Why do you continue to tell people to go there?

Tried to go there last year in February and took me 2 hours to go 6 miles. So many moving to Florida and roads and highways are chocked with traffic.

Former local here. Be aware of several very strong rip currents on this beach. This beach (especially the point) projects in a direction that makes rip currents form around it. Locals know were they are and how to spot them. I fear tourists (especially children) will get caught up in them. FYI.., the rip currents off John's pass are also very strong and nearly impossible to see. Safe vacationing.
