Silence filled the auction hall. "Sold! Twenty million to Miss Karina!" The guests applauded as Karina accepted the congratulations with a calm smile. She looked at Winter and gave her a teasing smile. A few moments later, Winter walked over to her. "Congratulations." Karina smiled politely. "Thank you." Winter glanced at the expensive vase. "You really like that vase that much?" Karina looked at it for a second before shrugging. "No." "It's a stupid vase." Winter blinked in surprise. "You just spent twenty million on it." Karina casually took a sip of her wine. Winter chuckled. "You really like playing games, huh?" Karina looked straight into her eyes. "Only when my opponent is you." Winter looked at the vase once more. "Do you want it?" Karina asked. Before Winter could answer, Karina continued, "You can have it." Winter looked genuinely surprised. "Really?" Karina nodded. Winter stepped a little closer. "And what's the condition?" Karina laughed softly. She leaned in just enough for only Winter to hear. "You." Winter raised an eyebrow. Karina smiled. "After this event... come with me." Winter leaned in slightly, meeting Karina's gaze. "No, thanks." Karina's smile faded for just a second. Winter looked at the vase one last time before reaching out to straighten Karina's suit collar. She smiled. "As you said..." "It's a stupid vase." Their eyes stayed locked for a brief moment. Winter stepped back. "Congratulations again." She turned around and was about to leave. Karina smiled to herself before speaking. "Just wait, Winter..." "You'll be mine someday." Winter stopped walking. A smile slowly formed on her lips. She glanced back over her shoulder. "Well..." "I'm looking forward to it." She winked before walking away. Karina quietly watched her leave. She took another sip of her wine as a confident smile returned to her face. "Just wait..." Karina smirked. Meanwhile, Winter couldn't help but smile to herself as she walked away. "Idiot."
