I had RNY and I drink 1 carbonated sugar free water a day but it took at least 6-7 months post surgery to be able to.

I work 3rd shift 12 hours, I only do sugar free, or the monster lemonade. if I only have the monster sugar free carbonated ones I put them in my watter bottle over ice to cut back on the bubbles

If I do an energy drink, I mix it with flavored water. All sugar free. Less carbonation. Or I will put a flavor syrup in it. I can’t handle the taste of any kind of “soda” straight.

v8 energy is black tea and green tea and it taste amazing. no added sugar but it have 22 g of sugar from the fruits and veggies
