My endocrinologist always checks my thyroid, antibodies, my hormones, my vitamin levels, ferritin, iron and hemoglobin and etc. He orders my iron infusions and my monthly B12 shots 🥰

I stopped seeing an endocrinologist because they are literally useless.. I saw 5 different endocrinologists in a year and not a single one was helpful. I now see a naturopath and she has been so much more helpful

I do not understand why they say no to blood work….. other than the fact that it’s a power trip. Like they literally are doing nothing .. they aren’t drawing your blood. It makes zero sense

A couple of things. Find a functional health doctor to run your hormone labs. Your regular gyno doesn’t run it right. It has to be exactly 7 days after ovulation. And check your gut microbiome. I bet your gut is the root cause for the thyroid issue.

Exactly all they care about is TSH nothing more you asked for full thyroid panel and they won’t do it. Ask for T3 T4 reverse nope

you have the right to take an alternative approach with useless labs if you want. endocrinologists shouldn't be expected to get u anything u want. it's not a Walmart lol.

This happens to me also! Every time I ask for a whole thyroid panel they only check my TSH and free T4… I always have to call for them to add more but they never do. It’s so frustrating 🙄

I just had to beg my Endocrinologist to test my T3 and T4, instead of just the TSH. Only to find out my T4 is really low even though I take medication daily.

make sure your vit D, iron & B12 are well above middle range on your BT, these need optimising to help your thyroid

Hi! You can self pay for certain labs at quest diagnostics. If you go to their website you can just order the labs yourself! I don’t think all of them are available but there’s a decent amount of labs that you can select.
