@slayover50ugc: What would you put in your death binder? I thought creating one with useful information for my family would be a good thing to do before my cognition and language skills decline to the point where I’m no longer able to advocate for myself. Right now it has important passwords my personal directive my will and my power of attorney but I’m not sure what else to put in it. Any ideas? Yes it's a great idea. I created something similar after my mom passed in 2020. There are some books to purchase as well ("I'm dead, now what?" and "Sorry it's your problem now"). I gathered important documents (financial and insurance).

Put in personal likes and dislikes eg if you don’t like lying for too long on your side, what sort of pillows you prefer, any fabrics that make you itch, favourite music to listen to, favourite foods, smells, sounds, textures.

If you haven't already I'd add any wishes you have for your funeral if you care about any specifics. My grandmother didn't and all her kids did was fight about what she may or may not want, it was so stressful
