@gardenary: Got some rosemary left over? Don’t let it go to waste! Make a quick hair oil instead. Just use this quick recipe and massage it into your scalp once a week. Easy, smells great, and your hair will love it. Want more simple ways to use what you grow (and actually remember when to harvest it)? nope! coconut oil takes days to remove from your hair. the concept is right but the oil is too heavy.

Coconut oil would solidify and not sure how that would go in your hair, wouldn’t glycerin or jojoba oil be better with the rosemary???

I add castor oil, it's known for hair growth and it penetrates deeper than any other oil.

ok... what's the deal with ratios of saturated, monounsaturated, and polyunsaturated fats? Coconut oil has a lot of saturated fat, meaning that it has few potential binding sites for oil-loving rosemary extract molecules. Wouldn't an oil rich in monounsaturated or polyunsaturated fat be a better choice, since it has a greater "molecular carrying capacity" (more available binding sites)?

I use to do this but now I just add a few drops of the essential oil to coconut oil as a precondition on wash days. I find aloe Vera based shampoos get the oil out beautifully

Why does no one understand that the heat on your scalp will make it so the coconut doesn't solidify in your hair😭
