@inyangndisthang: Today, we gather to honor the men and women who have served this great nation — our veterans. They are more than soldiers in uniform; they are living testaments of courage, sacrifice, and faith. They stood on the front lines of danger so that we might live in the safety of freedom. The United States of America has always been blessed by those willing to defend liberty. Our veterans answered the call — not for fame or fortune, but because they believed in something greater than themselves. They believed in duty, honor, and God. The Bible reminds us in John 15:13 (KJV): “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” That verse captures the very spirit of our veterans — men and women who laid aside comfort and safety to serve others. Whether they fought on foreign soil or served here at home, each veteran became a guardian of freedom and a protector of peace. But their service is not only physical — it is also spiritual. Many of our veterans are soldiers in God’s army, fighting the good fight of faith. They have faced fear, hardship, and uncertainty, yet their faith has carried them through. The Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 2:3-4 (KJV): “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” Just as our veterans served their nation with bravery, they also remind us how to serve God with steadfast hearts. Their discipline, loyalty, and courage mirror the qualities God calls us to show in our own spiritual battles. Today, we pause to say thank you — not just with words, but with gratitude that lives in our hearts. We thank every veteran for the sleepless nights, the time away from family, the scars — seen and unseen — that came with their service. We thank the families who stood beside them in prayer and faith. In Psalm 91:1-2 (KJV) we read: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” That same divine protection has carried our soldiers through the darkest valleys and fiercest storms. And it continues to sustain them as they return home to build, to lead, and to serve in new ways. Let us also remember that the freedoms we enjoy — the right to worship, to speak, to live in peace — are gifts preserved by the sacrifices of these men and women. They stood watch so that our nation could remain a light of liberty to the world. As citizens and as Christians, we must never forget that freedom is not free — it has always been bought with courage, blood, and faith. And so we honor our veterans not only as American heroes, but as instruments of God’s providence — people through whom He has blessed this land. Let us close with the words of Isaiah 6:8 (KJV): “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Our veterans answered that call — both for country and for God. May we, too, answer when we are called — to serve, to love, and to stand for what is right. To all our veterans: we honor you, we thank you, and we pray God’s richest blessings upon you. May the Lord continue to strengthen you and this great nation you have so faithfully defended. God bless our veterans, and God bless the United States of America.🇺🇸 #veterans #veteransday #supportourtroops #fypage #soldiers
