The 9/16 is always missing for me. It’s not specifically one size that Murphy swipes. It’s a commonly used socket that is instrumental in the every day tasks. As the patron saint of Murphy, I can only offer that bit of insight on the matter.

its played out for sure. I know exactly where all of my tools are at all times(Airplanes). Most of the time its my 3/8" socket going missing, because people borrow it.
