WW take offense when we don’t automatically feel safe around them. They sense it and then we become their target. In response so many of us learn to mask. Doing this for years is exhausting. And it can chip away at your soul. I’ve learned to find joy and rest to replenish my cup by chasing outside passions and pursuing hobbies.

I give space to everyone at work, I don't want people I don't know well in my business or space, so I do the same... I'm there to work and collect a check first, if I make friends great, if not, that's cool.... with that being said, I've been fortunate to develop long lasting real friendships with people of different races, ethnicities and religious backgrounds.... but I was also raised in a very diverse environment
