Non rev travelers should be aware of the airline’s dress code. Don’t like the rules? Pay for your seat and dress as you wish.

Whoever gave them those buddy passes should have worn them. I flew on someone but it passed long time ago and I had on leggings, but I had a dress on that was long enough. I got bumped to first class once I took my leggings off.

Yes, there are rules... BUT who will know that they are flying on the Pass Program? And it doesn't make sense to have to dress up just bcuz it's a free flight.

This has been the rule for United since I can ever remember why now is it a problem they should not have got a pass and were spandex dress appropriately. We all can’t be Hoochie mamas all our life.

I’m all for appropriate clothing but it’s the slippers, bare feet and bra tops, pants sagging below the knees, and hair bonnets that are awful. Not leggings.

I used to work for United Airlines. Those girls got those United Airlines employees fired. It’s pretty clear the traveling rules for standby passengers. What time I had me and my husband and my three boys going to Hawaii. I had all of my boys in the exact same outfit, but they did not approve my oldest son’s outfit and made him sit in the back and gave us first class. All the food they gave me in first class. I walked back to him and sat with him in the back. He will never forget that! The rules really don’t make sense
